Many thanks and I agree. I find that currently so many with nothing to look forward to. I don't get it, they need to get on the water Fish, cruise, dive, sail, kayak, gunkhole, explore, make friends, wake up to incredible sunrises, long beach walks, pot lucks and sunsets. Life is good!

Rossie in the East Caribbean?

Rossigal, do you think your Rossie is safe enough to cruise in the Eastern Caribbean? Or Western Caribbean? Is range a problem? What is your power setup?

I'd feel secure in it. Range depends on speed. At 20 knts I have a 215 mile range, at 4 knts I have twice that. As the Rossi's come with various engine arrangements, you'd have to know the particulars of "that" boat. Mine has twins so my comfort level cruising the islands is increased.

Engine choice

I couldn't see details of your Rossie in your profile. What engine setup do you have? Sounds like a pair of 115 HP? Looks like you are enjoying your boat. Happy for you.

Greetings fellow soloist. And congratulations on the Rosborough. That's a fine boat. I have been on them and they are very pretty. There's lots of space inside her too, a surprising amount for her length. What a wonderful boat you chose. Enjoy her.

And if you happen to see Seaweed along the waterways, say hello.

Hi Rossigal,
That's a ripper of a boat you have there !!!!!
Really love her, just looked on the net at a few similar that were for sale.
When I saw your pic I thought there was another "Nimiane" over there, but it is the bow. My stern looks identical at first glance.
You will love the ability of being able to trailer her to different cruising anywhere around the country.
Happy cruising.
pics = don't you think we look familiar, except that's my cute derrier.

Janice, I don't own a Rossie 246 yet. I am still in the process of searching for one in the East Coast. I saw one in Oregon, but it is kind of hard to go that far to inspect it. And then it costs over $4k just to trailer her back home.
