Towing Services

I have a 40 DeFever under contract (excited). I expect to use it mainly in ICW and inland waters. As far as towing services, which is better SeaTow or BoatUS?

We like Boat/US.

Depending where you need them, either could be better than the other.

There are pros and cons for both.

Read though their membership agreements carefully.

Most boaters know little about either one...so advice can be all over the truth.

I was on the business 14 years...even people in the business didn't know the membership agreements cold.

X2 to this. Since the individual areas are franchised, service levels vary. If you could define your cruising areas, the forum folks could provide some input about experiences in various areas.
