I'm new to this forum. Spent a lifetime around boats and all things mechanical. Almost all my experience is with racing sailboats. Bought a 40ft powerboat and did a complete rebuild, finally in the water. Now after a lifelong intimate relationship with a tiller I get to figure out how a wheel works.

Welcome Sean.

I to spent my youth racing sailboats, then sailing larger boats. I am behind you, in that I have yet to buy my first power boat, but I am close.

Tell us about your boat, and pictures are always a good thing.

Welcome Sean! What kind of power boat? How big is your anchor? How much chain do you have? Photos are appreciated by all here on TF so don't hesitate to share pics of your new boat. Again, welcome to the dark side.
