I don't remember where I found this, maybe even in this forum. But, it is a very interesting piece on how the US South is viewed. Very entertaining and informative. Rich Hall's videos on other topics are worth watching too.

Definitely worth watching, thanks for the link.

To date my numerous visits have been dominated by 'Marin's USA', which I've enjoyed. The South is a part of your country that I've never been to, but I am even more curious now. Anyone got some tips for best times of the year, 'don't miss' and 'stay well clear of'? Cities by and large I can avoid, particularly as Rich indicates they've been kinda homogenised, but all the same including some would be part of the flavour.
