Picture of our boat in Panama Canal

This occurred a couple years ago, but it's a fun story, so,figured I would share:

We ordered the boat in the US, but they are built in France.

I was Monitoring the ships AIS from Europe, and knew its position. When it was near the PC, I was monitoring two live web cams at the locks.

Needle in a haystack. Could not believe it, there she was for about 20 minutes as the lock unfilled, and it was gone. Our boat is on the bow, in the middle with 2 sailboats on either side.

That one is worth framing and using as a decoration inside the boat. Not many of us will ever get to see our boat in that situation. It's pretty special.
