Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
To All My Democrat Friends:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or
explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally
conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the
winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most
enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of
your choice, or secular practices of your choice,
with respect for the religious/secular persuasion
and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to
practice religious or secular traditions at all. I
also wish you a fiscally successful, personally
fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition
of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year
2008, but not without due respect for the calendars
of choice of other cultures whose contributions to
society have helped make America great. Not to imply
that America is necessarily greater than any other
country nor the only America in the Western
Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard
to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability,
religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
To My Republican Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

RE: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Does that also mean...complicated comments for complicated folks?* Would one prefer to be simple or complicated?
Seems to me that the most humourous situations in life, are the ones we create....trying to be real.

RE: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Actually I'm just polishing up my curmudgeon approach to things both simple and complicated to quote:* "If the human brain was so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't" Emerson Pugh.
Everyone have a Merry (and safe) Holiday.

"Actually I'm just polishing up my curmudgeon"
With the possibility of a Marxist in the White House , you might be better served by polishing up and then preserving and burring your weapons.
Chairwoman Hell will not tolerate anything as old as the constitution .
It was written by and for CHRISTIANS , totally un PC.

RE: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Perhaps we should polish up our reading of the Constitution and Bill of Rights ie: The First Amendment.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".
One should note that the Founding Fathers were Agnostics. Christians, Jews and
Atheists and were referring to Agnostics, Christians, Jews, Hindus etc., etc., etc..
