I found a little free time in San Pedro, CA this week and saw our old friend in preparation for her public debut.

At night she is all lit up with soft blue lights against her gunmetal gray sides. She looks great in her new home!!
 
Toured the New Jersey a couple of years ago. Was impressed by both her size in all things but also, conversely, by how cramped certain areas were. For instance, the spaces in which the main armament turret crew had to operate.

I took Mahalo Moi to the Mothball Fleet yesterday and missed seeing Iowa. Vickie and I intend to visit her in SoCal later this summer.
