Everybody has an opinion, nobody is wrong, and in the end you have to do what you feel is right for your situation. Whether or not you feel you should comply with the laws that affect what you want to do--- take a handgun into Canada, for example--- is also a personal decision.

We carry a legal firearm when it makes sense to us to do so, the rest of the time we don't. Read the threads Craig posted the links to and then make your own decision.
