Every winter I ask myself the same question.

Why am I here and not somewhere like there?

Next winter take that Island Gypsy down the coast until you find the desired temperature. Burning diesel is more fun than hauling and shrink wrap. Who knows, you may stumble across Don's secret recliner. If you do I'd like the GPS coordinates.

Ooh! Don's hidden recliner. Now there's a geocache to seek. Maybe he'd up the ante by putting a (full) bottle of JD under it.

Your "here" looks about 25 degrees F warmer than my "here" at work. Consistently -30F everyday this week.

Makes me feel sooo much better, but no warmer, to know someone is worse off.

Knowing Don he'd probably meet you there...

Of course the bottle would probably be empty though

I'll meet and bring the Jack, but David has to bring his own recliner.

Yep, it's getting that time again.

Fuel wise its a wash , 200G to winter in NYC , or 100G down 100G back to S.FLA .

Really depends on other factors than fuel cost.
