I'm a fisherman finding myself spending more and more time cruising and am contemplating moving to a trawler. My thought is having the trawler serve as the mother ship for a small fishing boat I'll bring along. My travels take me throughout the Chesapeake Bay and offshore down the coast to the Outer Banks and south. Any 43 OA owners that could weigh in on how this hull would perform for me, especially offshore? Thanks in advance.

I have cruised same with twin 120 Lehmans from San Diego to Petersburg AK, then south again to Puerta Vallarta Mexico in all sea conditions. Boat will handle more than I can. Google MVDarlin for 8 yrs of cruising info. Currently in Mazatlan MX for complte refit.
