I think it's been happening gradually over the last 3 years, as they have focused on the larger yacht market. The 72' - 100' hulls they are currently selling could very well still be his designs.
I do know for a fact ours was the last new design of his they built and our hull #5 was the last of our model they built.
Johnny Cheu is taking a lot of direction from a guy in Texas that is steering him into the larger yacht market. They have partnered with Christinsen and may be buying into them or some of their yards to build the bigger stuff.
They are getting good press for the new larger yachts. Time will tell if this was a good business decision.
