My windlass motor is in need of a brush spring. Everything else looks ok but one of the four sponge broke. Looking for a couple if anyone has a parts motor.

Just take the brush/spring to your local industrial motor repair facility.
They will have one that matches.

Years ago I had the brushes wear out on a SL windlass. I went to an auto starter/alternator/electrics shop and they adapted some brushes to fit.
