Anybody ever hear of an Axton CQR-style anchor? I have one for sale, which is not the point. I found a much bigger one that I want to buy but I don't want a Chinese mystery-metal clone that will either break or dissolve in salt.

If anybody knows anything about Axton, composition, where made, anything, please let me know.

Ta ever so.

If you post a link, you are more likely to get some action on Axton Xsbank.

Thanks Peter, you mean post to the one I'm selling? I don't want to stiff anyone with a crap anchor as this one came with the boat. The one I'm selling is a 40 pounder and it's too small for my boat. I want to know more about them, certainly before I buy a bigger one or try to sell mine on here.

Well not exactly, I really meant post a link to the Manufacturer's website so folk could learn a bit more, however, having googled it myself, all I could come up with is probably your ad, as follows, so they are pretty much an orphan type - clearly a CQR knock-off, so as such, not a great anchor in todays terms, sorry…
Here 'tis….

That's pretty much what I have found, there are three in existence that I know of and nobody knows anything about them so I am giving up the uneven struggle. Thanks anyway, Pete, I will keep looking.
