Anchor Survey- PNW

Just got back from another club cruise to Genoa Bay and I conducted a little survey of the boats that attended. Here is what i found out of the 32 boat in attendance, 30 powerboat/2 sailboats.

CQR - 2
Danforth - 4
Delta - 7
Claw - 6
Bruce (real) - 13

Guess I am in good company.......

I did a similar survey walking mine and two neighboring marinas recently prior to buying our new anchor. Don't recall exact numbers but Danforth types made up roughly 75%. Purchased a Fortress FX-16 from Hopkins Carter and couldn't be happier with the results.

Call me ignorant but am a big fan of the idiom, when in Rome do as the Romans. Had I found a similar number of claw anchors I woulda went that route.
