Source for Carling rocker switches
Hi All,
I'd like to add a few specific switches to my spares kit, mainly the off-on-momentary start switch for my engines. It's a snap in rocker style switch made by Carling, only number I can see on the side is 0405, 4 tabs. Not sure the amps.
My boat uses a few other Carling switches and I'd like spares of those as well.
Tried the google machine, but didn't really see an exact match, including on Carling's website.
Any ideas?

I think the rocker switches that Blue Sea Systems sell are made by Carling.
Any chance these are what you’re looking for?

Hey Parks, thanks, it's close, but doesn't quite match. I found some on Grainger, different brand, but I think it should work.

Correct, Contura switches are Carling. As are all of the Blue Sea switches I've seen.

I got some Whitecap Industries (Carling manufacture) Contura switches from Overton's.
AND that was after an odd occurence where the Blue Seas (Carling manufacture) equivalent (#V1B1) that I tried first was just enough different that the Blue Seas light wasn't visible. IIRC, it was something like an amber diode behind a red lens, something like that, where the Whitecap model (#V1D1) had a white diode behind the red lens.
But for unlighted actuators, I'd guess both are equally good.
