i will be installing a 350W max wind generator as well as @ 400W solar combined. Do the MPPT controllers allow for different source inputs? Do they conflict?

Karl, I'm no expert, and my panels are controlled through mere pulse width modulated (PWM) controllers, but I do know MPPT controllers are out there with the provision for solar and wind gen. inputs. No doubt someone will post info or a link - and of course, you could gargle it..?

There are some hybrid MPPT controllers out there that handle inputs from wind and solar. The most efficient cells are made by Sun Power - they market panels as well as a company in Europe (mounted on flexible ones).

It's my understanding that each needs/uses it's own. My wind genny (Air Breeze) came with its own regulator.

And I just bought a new MPPT controller Be still my heart. New therad upcoming, because of course there are questions!
