The going rate for a old fashioned belt and pulley is not to exceed 100 Amps.

Is there any documentation out there on how many amps a serpentine belt will pull?

Of course it depends on the width of the belt.

On a coach a single belt will operate a 24V 300A alternator and at the same time the cooling fan , about 30-40 hp or so.

Call/get a hold of Balmar.* *We bought serpentine pulleys from them on an other boat.* If I remember correctly, you can go all the way up to 98 Series alternator, around 200 plus amps at 12 volts.
