Would Raymarine fluxgate compass work with Certek autopilot control box? Both (Ramerine and Cetrek fluxgate compasses) need to be mounted on a vertical surface, close to the centerline, away from magnetic fields and metals. The number of wires (4) is same but not sure about the signals that come from the compass.....

The Raymarine fluxgate is looking for a Seatalk network for power and to pass data. Probably a 99.9% chance it won't work. The Certek might be able to take a NMEA 183 heading message from another compass in lieu of its own fluxgate.
