Raymarine AIS in Silent Mode

I have Raymarine AIS model 500, class B.
Can see all AIS targets but it won't take the command to turn off the silent mode.
Also have E120W and E90W MFD's.

AIS in silent

I just hooked up my Raymarine to a third party Icom AIS and receive the same error.
It appears to be working but the icon in the transducer panel of the chartplotter shows AIS with grey background.

Some research I have done shows this may be attributed to the 3rd party AIS being connected via Nema 0183 but I like the previous poster would love to solve this one.

I'm still under warranty so I plan to phone Raymarine while on board next week.

Good news keep me posted on what you find out we should be in Chicago and heading down the river system starting Thursday.

Although I have done the TenTom and a few river systems without AIS before I am hoping to have the bugs ironed out for a better view of barges around the blind curves for this trip south to FL.
