Hi Folks,
I have a Nobeltec Radar, running Admiral software and a Sony laptop.
since I bought the boat, I have always had issues with the Radar signal dropping. It works for awhile and then the Radar signal stops coming in.
Any ideas of what might be happening?
I've reinstalled the Radar driver multiple times and still does the same thing.

Thanks for any help,

Taras

Yes, I have a pretty good idea. I have the same vintage radar. I'm guessing that your laptop Ethernet ports have a power saving mode, and that is causing the radar network connection to be lost. Try connecting them both to a small Ethernet hub. Worked for me.

I'm not familiar with any of these, but most laptops have all kinds of settings for the power saving modes. You should be able to disable any of the power saving features.
