Radar Reflector

I'm not sure how easy the thread linked to will help make a decision. In just about every independent test done on Radar reflectors, the simple passive Davis aluminum reflector did the best. The key is to have it properly mounted in the orientation Davis recommends. There are electronic units that will make you look like a supertanker but they are expensive and can fail. Chuck
 
Also with a lot of the tests...there's "great reflectors" and then there's good enough.

Some of the testing criterion can get out of hand. In many of the tests, professional mariners state that even the basic ones help a lot (anecdotal...but relevant), which is exactly my experience as a professional mariner of 35+ years also
