I am the 3rd owner of a boat with a FLIR Navigator II pan and tilt on board. The FLIR works great and it tilts in command with the joystick. However, it pans VERY slowly and after 5 degrees or so it stops turning. I then have to wait 5 seconds or so and resume turning again, for 5 more degrees, and so on. I’m told by the previous owner that he removed the camera from the roof and it turned fine (with no pauses) while not mounted. I’m not excited about removing the camera myself to repeat this exercise.
