Mastervolt Masterview Easy touch dead?

Anyone used a Mastervolt Masterview Easy touchscreen controller?

I think the one in my boat is dead. That is, it's unresponsive to any touch presses on it.

Does anyone know if it's compatible with one of their newer models? Can I plug-and-play a new model in it's place?

I'm thinking of upgrading to the newer model simply for better readability. The one I have now is still working fine. Let me know how things work out for you.

The new one was plug-and-play, but did require a little cutting to make the hole larger. The new unit is slightly larger.

Same here, installed the new Easy View 5 and was able to leave the older Easy View in place.
