Re: crimpers, being in the electrical trade, I have become fond and always used the T&B crimpers specifically the one(s) that put a dimple into the connector as opposed to just flattening it out .......

I too use the T&B crimper but if you are using heat shrink clad terminals that dimpler will puncture the heat shrink clad defeating the heat shrink seal.

That tool is fine for non heat shrink terminals which can have a separate piece of heat shrink added.
