Deal on Imtra LED bulbs

Here's a deal! Imtra, Defender and Active Captain have worked out a great deal on LED bulbs. It's good for this week only, so if you've been wanting to upgrade, but find the prices too expensive try now. Remember West Marine has a Internet price matching policy, so you might just print these out and take them over there.

RE: Deal on Imtra LED bulbs

Why dont you try buying directly from China in sample quantities. I did and converted all of my halogen and incandescent globes for $2-3 each. They had no problem supplying sample quantities of 10-15 LEDs.

Try http://www.genergylighting.com/produ...sp?listId=1001

Ive had the LEDs in Gemma my Tradewinds 42 for over a year now and they're terrific. I have no affiliation with the supplier.

RE: Deal on Imtra LED bulbs

Anyone know which LED bulb replaces to 1004 lamps that are the standard interior dome light fixtures in boats?

*Sounds great.* Moonstruck has already been converted to LED, but I would like to buy some more.* I couldn't find pricing or how to order on the website, did I miss something?* Thanks for posting.* Looks like it could be a good source.

RE: Deal on Imtra LED bulbs

Anybody have a problem with led's

I don't know if I just don't like the light they produce or they affect my eyes some how.

Maybe I'm just so used to the old yellow light. They just seem a little warmer and friendler to me.

I have never had a problem with using up my batteries. The way I boat I guess.

Not a lot of time on the hook always moving around. Running the engine.

I am looking for a nice flourescent fixture Just to light up the boat bright when I come aboard. Just*to get things stowed away. If you have one laying around from your LED refit PM me*maybe I can*take it off your hands

*SD, no problem with the LEDs.* Warm white is what you should be looking for.* They should be about 2800 or so on the Kelvin scale.* When you get upwards of 4000K you are getting into the bright white range.* That has a sort of a blue tint.

RE: Deal on Imtra LED bulbs

I replaced all the halogens with led's two seasons ago. They were from the far east. Found them on ebay for about $ 3.00 each.

I did find that they are polarity sensitive. We have been very happy with them and almost don't notice the amp draw.

I got these on ebay for a couple dollars each. I had to redo the fixtures from the original 1156 sockets.

Yes, warm white for interior lighting.. Standard is fine for anchor and all around navigation lights.

Don
In answer to your question regarding buying LEDs from the Green Energy website; I sent an email to sharon Ouyang told her I wanted to buy a bunch of various sample LEDs ie festoons, side pin, centre pin etc and she emailed me a quote which I paid via funds transfer and in due course the LEDs turned up. I have a price list I can email to you if you wish.

Cheers

*Here's a cross reference chart at "superbrightleds.com" that might help you out. *I'm not affiliated with them in any way....have just bought quite a few items from them and am a happy customer....*http://www.superbrightleds.com/bulb_cross.php
