The last anchor watch thread got me thinking, has anyone found an app for anchor watch that uses NMEA over tcp for gps and even better depth? Lots of nav apps do it but curious for anchor watch.

Haven't seen tablet/phone apps that would use NMEA... but have seen "wireless" mentioned several times, presumably to display data from other instruments (e.g., plotter, sounder, etc.).

I think I've also seen mention of something you can attach to a non-wireless system to send/receive data to/from tablets/phones...

But you may have seen all that, too...

I believe SEAiq will do this.

Yeah I’ve got seaiq but was hoping to find a light weight anchor watch app as seaiq or inavx will run down your battery super quick.
