Does anyone use their I pad for vessel maintenance and logs? It seems like it would make good sense. There are a few in the apple store. Does anyone have first hand experience?

I use 6 HanDBase databases that I set up myself. Been using that for the last 12 years. I log every destination, maintenance item, part serial number/info, fuel purchase, projects, and spares, each as a database with a few different fields. It's really nice having it on multiple devices, especially your phone, so that it's always available when you find yourself in a HomeDepot and forgot that you needed some type of hose for a pending project.

There are a couple of companies working on additions to eBoatCards (there's an unannounced Apps capability similar to Facebook games) to put maintenance and other logging into your electronic boat card. All of eBoatCards is designed to work on touch screens and tablets.
