Hello. I have set on buying a 2017 Beneteau Swift Trawler 34, but have a challenge with its bridge clearance. My marina has a 5 meter (16"5' in) road bridge clearance and that's too much for the ST 34 unless the radar mast is collapsed. Has anyone found a way for a practical way of collapsing the mast single-handedly and in a simple (manual) way without much hassle, so it can be done every time leaving the marina? Perhaps by way of making modifications to the swing hinge bolt (a wing nut and bolt) and the harness wire locks.
