I ask as one usually hears good things about these "no moving parts" send units but usually this is from folks that have had them less than 4 years or so. The one's that came on my boat may be original and therefore 22 years old. One of them (I have two fuel tanks) doesn't seem to work at all and the other one is a bit erratic such that I can't really trust it.
Wonder if others have had the same experience. I wonder as it seems like since the electronics are sealed in potted plastic and the tubes are so simple they would last forever.
