Any experience with ANG frequency converters?

I am looking at getting a frequency converter for our 50hz powerboat to be kept here in the US using 60hz power from the dock. I know about ASEA and ATLAS, but does anyone have experience with ANG (Homepage - A.N.G. CONVERTERS Worldwide Shore Power Converters)

Do you really need one?
How many "motor driven" consumers do you have?

If this is a permanent move to the US for this boat, you might want to consider replacing your 220v,50 hz euro appliances to 120v, 60hz. especially if the appliances are not new. Most generators, if your boat is so equipped, have the ability to have the frequency changed.Any other motors would be a small investment.Otherwise, every time you need to change out anything due to age, or malfunction, would require a foreign purchase to maintain the 50 hz. Just my opinion. I would weigh out the costs, both present, and the future before making this decision. Good luck with whatever you choose.
