I don't remember him saying low voltage. He said fluctuations IIRC.. That's why I asked if any data was available.

You might be right. I thought he said the fluctuations involved voltage drops. I'll have to go reread and refresh my memory.

I wouldn't buy a unit just for that feature but I have been on a couple recent surveys where the AC units stopped because they were unhappy with low voltage from the onboard AC generators. Good feature that offeres a measure of protection versus just running them slow and hot until they fail...
