Furuno NavNet3D

I am planning to install a Furuno NavNet3D, two stations. I've been following the charting problems/solutions for a few months now - with Canada coverage requiring separate loading. Furuno says their 12th fix in 8 months, 1.12, *is due out soon. I'm reluctant to spend the big money until the NavNet3D chartplotter portion performs as well as Furuno's older stuff and Jeppsen. The digital radar is super by all accounts. Any knowledge or input would be appreciated.

RE: Furuno NavNet3D

One of the better electronic shops in my area also says that the NavNet is having a few problems. It's too bad as Furuno radars are legendary. I once had a Furuno system but my present boat, bought used, came with NorthStar chart, radar and fishfinder. I can't believe how user friendly it is and so far (2 years) has not broken down.
