Topped off the boat today before tomorrows splash. $2.29 / gal off road from the bulk truck. Sure beats the heck out of the last few years. Now my goal is to burn 300 gals before fall at 8 knts. That will take some doing.

Sounds like a great price and a noble goal! Keep us posted!

Capn Craig with the river rising are you still in the water or did you have them pull your your boat out ? I see the rock is high also.
Good luck

The waterlevel is no problem. It crested several feet below flood stage in most areas close to here. It has been dropping slowly for a few days now. The Rock is a different story. I'm keeping my boat at Island City Harbor in Sabula IA this summer. Approx mile 535. It would have to be a near record flood to cause problems there. The harbor is an old rock quarry off the river and out of the current. Other than being a little chocolate colored, and the current being stronger than normal, things are good. Headed to the boat in about an hour. Where you from?
