Yes, the lighthouse and bridge are terrific photo's.

Maybe one of the mods should do a trawl through the threads and post a selection of outstanding photo's that have been posted over the years.

It would be a big job, however, it would be great to see, photo's are a big part of this site, besides the mods need to earn that exorbitant salary that Janet pays them.

Annapolis my home town.

Kinda missing it.
A bit of a cloudy day earlier but the sun did pop out some. We got to see the start of the Schooner race. Pics are from today and from our boat looking out over Spa Creek, our favorite Annapolis anchorage. I've always thought the Navy training ships would make awesome yachts! I did see a unicorn today!! A 65' Hatteras sailboatHull #3 of 3 made. 2 1/2" thick solid glass decks. 3" solid glass hull below the waterline.

Daddyo,

I just have to tell you how much I enjoy your trips & photos. I look forward to them. I also would like to know what marina in Deltaville you are ending up at. We have our trawler at Remlik Marina just above Urbanna in La Grange creek, So I feel like you are almost a neighbor.... Keep the good reading & photos coming.....

Thank you very much for the compliments. We haven't decided where for sure but will probably haul out for the winter this go round.

Not much in the way of pictures today as it was a day shore side. I'll try and get a few tomorrow to show the glories of Annapolis. Tonights pic is of Spa Creek this evening.

The whole dingy thing gave me a chance to take a look at how things were laid out and I decided to make some changes. Namely I remounted the battery and fuel tank so they would be completely under the center seat. Also dressed the wires to the engine. The stuffing boxes are all dripping a bit more then I would prefer so tomorrow it's face time in the Lazarette and engine room. I can't reccomend enough that you have bilge pump cycle counters and highly visible lights to let you know when they come on. I'm also going to change out an engine impeller. The engine is putting out good water but running hotter then it's Lehman brother and putting out white smoke.

A new discovery the other day is the waves were so bad at one point off the Jersey shore that one of our antennas snapped and on it's way down to Davy Jones Locker it somehow managed to break off a section of teak eyebrow that wraps 3/4 of the flybridge.

Headed to our other favorite stop on the Chesapeake, St Michaels on the eastern shore. Picture is leaving Annapolis this morning.

When it's bad it's really bad. Not today, it's spectacular!

Looks like when we went through there Labor Day weekend - except without all those pesky sailboats!

This is prime sailing weather up there now. Not a lot of traffic and some good air.

Make sure you post plenty images of St Michaels. Such a beautiful place.

Are you going around Tilghman Island your way south? They used to raise the drawbridge at night. So you were either stuck on or off. Wonder if they still do that?

Daddyo, AIS has you just off the the Saint Micheals Marina at the end of Mulberry St.. Is that a public spot that you can stay for free? I love Saint Micheals but the $3 - $3.50 a foot always burns my shorts. When the weather is good we anchor in San Damingo creek behind Saint Micheals and it is a 2 minute walk to down town. Enjoy that great little town.
