Some Northeast Harbor and Bar Harbor "cottages". In the second shot that stone bridge is their driveway!

The info on Bruce Kessler was very interesting and I drive by the James Dean memorial on a regular basis in fact they are making that road into a 4 lane all the way to Paso Robles.

Out of interest my father in law many years ago lost the prop off his plane along with three of the four engine mounts not far from that memorial. Luckily after all the engine oil was blown off the windshield he landed it at Lost Hills, he said the silence after losing the prop was deafening.

It was found that 1/2 the prop ripped off leaving the other 1/2 still attached and that centrifugal force is what tore the engine mounts off and luckily the other 1/2 prop left the shaft before the 4th mount gave way other wise it would have been bad.

He just gave up his license at Christmas after 53 years flying - His stories of the crop dusters that flew for him as well as Sean Tucker the well known Oracle pilot - keep me riveted.

Well right on schedule there is a gale outside so it's time to go! Heading out in the am. Please come along if your boss/clients/husbands or wives will let you. I promise the boat porn will be strictly non age restricted. This go round is Southwest Harbor, ME to Deltaville, VA. Stops in Cape Cod, Newport, Northport, New York City, the Hudson and Annapolis. Oh yea and anywhere/everywhere I have to stop to fix things or ride out a hurricane.

As always you can track us in real time on marinetraffic.com "Grace" MMSI # 913030566 unless too far offshore.

The gale's are blowing for you calling you back to the water for another trip, my ol' boat is still in about the same condition or worse calling me back for some wrench time and painting and engine work. Safe travels and I for one look forward to be a tag along.

Do me a favor and tell my boat hello for me when you get to Deltaville. It's on the hard at Zimmerman's Marina for service and we won't get to see her until December when we load up and head to Florida.

Will do. I left DVL last year on Dec 28th so it's never too late.

We should be headed south and in the Deltaville area around Dec 14th....not many boats on the water then...we'll probably be the only other one out there

Just hauled our boat for the season () at Blue Hill, Maine, just a micro hair south of Daddyo. If past experience means anything, the boating weather will now be exemplary for the next two weeks.

Aha such is life! Yet on the other hand, isn't it time for all these predicted hurricanes to show up that haven't been this season?
