Is that cat boat a jet drive? They have them here for the Catalina Express and they are a huge jet drive.

Sure I'm stalking! I'm in an office doing metrics write-ups on supply chain - zzzzzz. I wish you would stop doing these distracting fun things! You and Tom.B who is in Ocracoke this week.

Anyway I'm not at my desk now, but it was SeaTow Boston from their website. Camera moves and zooms - very slick.

My son used to drive a couple of those out of Boston during the summers while at, and just after graduating from, the small vessel operations program at Maine Maritime Academy.

That's when he learned that yuppie kayakers blundering about in the ship channel were referred to by the crews of these boats as "speed bumps".

No I'm not getting soft. They gave me a slip in downtown Boston for the price of a mooring just out of respect. Full blown nor'easter coming tomorrow and Fri.

I'll bet you say to all the guys

Oh by the way. When I was on the hard for two weeks one of my projects I actually accomplished was two more underwater lights. These are pointed down at the props and rudders. This time I'm ready for those *#$% lobster pots!! I don't really hope to add to my collection hanging over the aft cabin under the flybridge overhang.

Fantastic read, Daddyo. Glad you're in safe harbor, but you're gonna probably get it tomorrow. I'm one to do long runs, but I'm not sure I could do the half-hour cat naps and be successful with it. You do, indeed, know your boat.

Well what a surprise, the weather was a non-event. Back underway today. Probably anchor outside Perkins Cove tonight, then Boothbay tomorrow. Great to see friends and family in Boston. Boston has always been my favorite European US city. I have my crew back now, except the admiral is driving the car for the next two days. I'm hoping it will be kind of cool cutting through the backside of Cape Ann this morning.

Too bad you can't get into Perkins Cove - Barnacle Billy's has great lobster rolls and fried clams. Safe travels.

I can pull into the courtesy dock but that's all. We'll wait on the lobster until it's free when my oldest is working as a stern man on a lobster boat as he did last summer.
