Thanks for the photos and glad you made it to Boston OK. Have a good run to Newport.

Thank you. Sorry about the duplicate. The seas are glass tonight. This exact spot a couple of days ago was 20'

Boy those Boston pics are beautiful.

Whoa! I hope you guys got righted after this one.

Wow! Made it to Australia already? You're making good time.

Daddyo, what engines do you have and what is your fuel burn when running that 7 to 8 knot area? Thanks

Lehman 120s. We burn 2 gallons an hour combined at 1500 rpm

Did something break today? Looks like you had to return to Newport.

Not enough fuel for the trip to Northport:( The marina closed early without notice so a night or much more is lost!!!

Looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride for the next 15 hours!

Good luck on the rough ride! Great GPH. Wish we got that. We run about 8 GPH at 8 knots. Don't even consider going above 10 it gets real ugly. But if we keep it down around 8 knots it is not be for DD 6V92's.

I hope this 45 hour run ends as well as it's starting

The East River and Manhattan in an hour or so! It never gets old seeing that from the water!

That sure was quick - I've been watching your trip closely since we'll be taking a boat from around Newport RI to Buffalo or Cleveland in the spring, so I wondered how much time to estimate for the LI Sound, swing around Manhattan, up the Hudson piece.

It's always good to live vicariously through another boater when you are on the hard. Good Luck and keep coming with the pictures and comments!:thumb:

Daddyo

that last pic is a great one

Had to fuel up. That is the first self serve 24/7 dock I have ever come across. $3.30 per gallon.

Hazzard Marine in Georgetown, SC has self-service pay at the pump too.

Amazing some of the marine world is catching up with the rest of the world.

You sure have the touch with the shutter, Mark.

Here are some better resolution pics

Since I have plenty of time on my hands here off the NJ shore. Here is a higher resolution pic of Boston a few days ago. Great to have the moon tonight! Always a welcome friend offshore.
