Alaskan King crab Personal use fishery

In PrinceWilliam sound where I boat Alaska has a personal use fishery for residents only I'm allowed three can grab Puryear first mate and I both have permits so we were allowed six can grab another friend on board had a permit so that gave us nine total. We wound up taking seven but that was plenty

"The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported: "

Can't see it on my phone. Must be an Apple thing.

Which is probably a good thing. Because if I could it would probably just make me want to run out and buy some crab and melt some butter.

Out of the ocean. We set up a big pot on the deck. A propane cookerHad them all cooked on the way back to the harbor. Butter Butter. We don't need no stinking butter. Best I ever tasted

The last video was getting out of the harbor. It actually took me about four tries. It doesn't take much ice to make maneuvering challenging. It was breaking up ok but it stopped me at 750 rpm. This video is of me coming back into the harbor. Sorry for the poor quality. Single screw. I had to lay the iPhone down and drive the boat.

Maybe not, I got 12 seconds of advert plus 3 seconds of video which didn`t seem right. Maybe ask RTF how it`s done, but I`m sure the crab was delicious anyway.

You are hard core, Dave! If I had frost on my dock, I'd turn around and go home, let alone snow and ice covering my decks and a frozen harbor!!! You and Apache II are in a whole different league than us California fine weather rec boaters!!!

Nice videos!! Does this mean you got your laptop working again?

Its a different world out there in the winter not another boat moving for 50 miles in any direction. No cell phone service. Just you, your equipment and the ocean. Makes you feel alive.

Thanks for sharing your videos. Only input that I have is maybe next time hold your iPhone horizontally as opposed to vertically. That way your videos will display better.
