Is it spring yet

Been boating all winter long looking for spring to spring.

It is like a different world out there in the winter.

Talk about solitude. I think I'm the only nut out there.

Always thought the only use for ice on a boat was to cool your beverage

You folks are soft.
Come on up to Alaska (The real Alaska Not the tourist pan handle ) Where men are men and women win the Iditarod.
Nice weather. What's That? If I waited for beautiful days I would spend most of my time in the harbor.
But I will tell you. When we have a nice day it is truly Spectacular.

It's been snowing all afternoon here in Calgary, and I just measured 5" of new snow moments ago. So the answer to the original question is NO.

I can't wait to get up there

What gorgeous country. It might be cold , but it's a dry cold , right? No skin cancer problems up here. No sticky humid day's either.

What is amazing about the PNW is it is good boating all year if you have diesel heat. No reason to winterize in BC if you are in the water except for draining deck faucets. During school breaks, I used to winterize boats in NY starting in September for the 3 month wonders. But sitting by the beach it ain't.
