We went for the annual pilgramage to Roche for the 4th.* Not as crowded as the past, but just as crazy.*

Next year, come over and have a beer.* We always spend the 4th in Roche because of the activities for the kids.* This year we were anchored out pretty far, but shouldn't be hard to find.

Hmmm, the Roche Harbor YC goes to Poulsbo for the fireworks.

Note in the 1st photo that someone is cleaning their bottom.

Hi Ed,

We found ourselves immediatly off your port bow in your 2nd shot.*

Having never been at Poulsbo for the 3rd fireworks, It was quite a shock to round the corner and see the bay stuffed with boats - almost like a mini-Seafair.

Fortunately, someone mentioned that we should close the hatches during the fireworks to keep the ash and debris out of the boat.

Great show.

If 1 of the 2 boats in your photo is suppposed to Makin Do, we've been misidentified.* We were in the Navy Yacht Club Everett wagon wheel (the one on the front line).* My photos were shot from the flybridge.* The bow in the foreground of the 2nd shot is of the 39' Searay on our starboard side.

Perhaps we'll see you there next year.* Stop by for a beverage.

Hi Ed,

No, the pic I posted was just a shot of the bay.

Saw the Navy YC and Roche YC wheel, we were anchored just west of the Navy wheel.

some of the best fun was watching the dinghy dock around noon on the 3rd. Live music at the stage.
Tide was out, many dinks stranded in the muck, but the revelers were not to be detered.
Nice shoes, black tarry mud, ladies losing their balance = priceless. Wish I had brought the camera for some of that.

nice show
