Made the trip last week to my winter storage marina.
You never know what you'll see along the way. The sub was really pretty close...close enough that the escort GC inflatable came roaring at us full bore, light flashing, *with a manned machine gun on the bow. When they got about 100 feet away I guess they realized just how harmless we were and turned off.
Got the blood pumping anyway.
Then at Essex we pass the replica of the Half Moon of Henry Hudson fame.
(I was exited just to be able to pass another boat)
One extreme to the other I suppose.
