Anyone that cruises from San Diego to Santa Barbara have any input on who has better speed/coverage? Have webboat, so cannot use Verizon. Wondering if ATT or TMobile which you all had better service performance and coverage.

ie not talking bars or maps, but actually out on water and using the internet...

any input greatly appreciated.

We Have T-Mobile and speeds have improved in the San Diego area to a decent level. I pay $25 extra for unlimited LTE hotspot data - and at times have up to 4 iPads surfing or streaming off my iPhone 7 :thumb:. It was a wise move because the “free” Beacon WiFi in the marina was crap. Total bill is $85 for two phones and unlimited LTE hotspot functionality.

I can’t speak to ATT

WeBBoat is a WiFi and 4G/LTE signal boaster w/ built in cellular router the router and the cellular is based on GSM technology vs CDMA

GSM is global used more and in US ATT and T Mobile are GSM, Verizon is CDMA and they do not offer that version yet

A competing product wirie is all GSM
