I moved to Carabel a marina called Captains Quarters. Awesome place $1 a ft. I got a trans cooler and I think I'll be good til I can pull my heat exchangers and get them dipped at a rad shop.

Guess it'll be rivers and small lakes fur a while. The pan handle of Fl. Should be Ga. You'd never know you were in Fl. I was watching the shore for the gators and turtles and almost hit a log. It's a little harder to go below to go potty or get a sandwich now. If she drifts a little I'm on the hard.

On the ICW whether on the gulf or Atlantic keep the red markers toward land and the green markers to sea. Works going north or south.

That can't be right for the Atlantic and I'm not 100 percent but I can remember coming down and it changed from red on right to green and I got confused. Not that that's hard to do or anything

I'm still trying to figure that out I think the family shackled her down. And she's mad cause I wouldn't wait. I was told if I stayed in hurricane area my insurance would 4500 if I go out like north to tornado area it's only 1400. I paid 75 to get 15 day window to get out. S I gotta move.

Officially the AICW ends in Miami and the green to sea works all the way to N.J. Same for the Gulf ICW. Off the ICW channels should be marked; red right returning. But on the ICW in certain places it can get confusing so it's best to have charts or plotters to confirm situational awareness.

All markers on the ICW gulf or Atlantic have a small yellow square or triangle at the top to designate them as being ICW markers.

On the ICW the arbitrary head of navigation is mile O at Norfolk VA. Red is on the right from there to Brownsville TX.

David, be careful as you go under the first bridge at Panama City. Your markers will change and green will be on the right with a gold triangle signifying that it is to be considered red for the ICW. They will change again as you pass the inlet. Anyway watch it very carefully there is a horrible oyster bar behind one of the green day marks as you come into the area.

You will find a similar situation at Penscola Bay.

I've got 220 gal of fuel. I could put 80 in or wait a bit. I get about 1nm per gal. Any recommendations.
