Well I've had this happen to me before. Where ya start ta lose it and your puttin it in gear and trying ta get back on the wall. But it was when we would throw rope up on top and they loop it around. Fence post. These floating ballards are easy very easy.

And you always want to be on the end either front or back. Most fill from the middle so that's where the turbulence is. Unless like some they fill using the doors like by opening the door to let fill or drain. Then you want middle. They are very helpful If ya tell um your new they'll tell where ta go. No really ...

Well I'm not sure if there have been anymore closures but I sailing ahead. We are in flood waters. The debrie isn't as bad as I would expect. I'll go to ditto marina and get the latest info. I can't find anything on notice to mariners. And it's still as the girls would say pretty.

I'm cruising at 1800 Rpms and normally I'd be doing 8 or 9 kts I'm doing 6.5. I feel like I just ripped my pocket and the money spilling out, blowing in the wind and I can't catch it.

The Gorge is where you will see the current that the TN River is really capable of! Depth drops to over 100 feet and the water will be fast coming at you.

Pot, Pan, and Skillet lights were named for the rapids that were drowned by the impoundment. The last big turn before coming out of the gorge was called the suck because of the whirlpool and rapid there. Steam boats had to be pulled by horses through there. Plenty deep now.
