After working on Compromise for over a year we finally left the slip last Thursday. Spent four days on the hook in Offatts Bayou. Nothing to do but eat, nap, eat, nap, eat, sleep, repeat.

Got pretty exiting Saturday morning just after midnight when the anchor alarm went off. Winds well over 30 MPH, but direction had changed from NE to NW and that set off the alarm. I like the alarm set pretty tight just in case.

This was kind of test run for the Floscan system. Coming back Monday we fought the outgoing tide and NE wind coming up the ship channel so the indicated MPG numbers were not really encouraging.

Congrats on getting the bugs ironed out and getting out onto the deep blue sea. But you know the rules.....if you don't have pictures it didn't really happen.

Here we are coming up on the Kemah Boardwalk.
