RE: Belize Island Transport

That's a pretty sweet ride. We chartered out of San Pedro a couple times and it was pretty cool with all the golf carts running around. Saw a lot of families crusing in the afternoons with a cooler of Belikin.

RE: Belize Island Transport

Prince of Wales Island Transport is (in a word) quads. I think it's an expression of the Alaskan life style and anything under that heading is popular. And I think kids can ride'em before they can get a drivers license. On the other side of the bay (the other half of Thorne Bay) it's skiffs. 75% of them are 16' Lund SSV16 aluminum skiffs mostly red. Tiller helms are considered cool. I have a tiller helm on my skiff and I'm pretty cool but I want to convert it to a center helm. My neck gets tired when looking much to stbd. The load belongs in the center of the boat as well. My helm is very long as the e-tech Evinrude has the lowest gear ratio and large prop. Lots of thrust but lots of propeller torque hence the long tiller arm.
