I'd love to know where those molds are, just for curiosity sake.

Just read this thread for the first time. To satisfy your curiosity, Cappy208 and Sailor of Fortune, at least one set of molds for the Prairie 29 belong to Ken Fickett and have resided at Mirage Manufacturing in Gainesville for more than 10 years.
If you look at the picture below, you can see the Prairie 29 deckhouse mold just behind the two guys in white shirts. Then, to the right of the deckhouse is the front part of the hull mold.

Some years back, he was planning to do something with a smaller (than the Great Harbours anyway) trawler based on the Prairie molds. But nothing ever came of it.

And, NoSalt. I saw one on Yachtworld in Largo also. I think the one in Largo was asking 18K, and another one in PuntaGorda (Chug maybe) asking 35K. Good Luck

Doh, price dropped to 16K

We have a 30 foot 1983 Atlantic for sale in Massachusetts. The Atlantic is the sister ship of the Prairie. It was made from the same molds after Prairie went out of business. It is a galley down design and has been exceptionally well maintained. Compared with those we have seen pictures of on various broker sights, ours in in much better shape. It does not have generator or A/C. Asking $49,800 but will consider all reasonable offers.

I'll selling mine
If you aren't in a big hurry I'llbe selling mine in the Spring. Unfortunately I had it shipped from Clearwater to Upstate NY five years ago, so it maybe to far for your interest. It's currently winterized and shrunk wrapped so it can't really be viewed until we return to NY next May. It cost me approximately $3,500 to have it professionally hauled when we moved it.
