I originally fell in love with the Prairie design when I began considering moving from a 30' Hunter sailboat to a trawler type boat back in 2012.
I was looking on the various sites and found one close to me in eastern NC. One day as I was driving around near Oriental, NC I spotted her. She was for sale and having an out of water survey.
I walked closer and eventually talked to the broker. It seems the potential buyers were upset there were two very small blisters (and I mean very small almost insignificant blisters).
Anyway he and I talked a while and as I watched her swing in the lift and saw her lines and style. My love increased.
I was not in any position to buy her then. I do not know what happened to her.
But I have always thought fondly of her as I still think fondly of first loves and first kisses and first love affairs after more than 40 years.
She was a forest green Prairie 29 sold out of Oriental, NC in 2012. Might anyone know where she is?
Like looking for a lost love on FB; and hoping.....hoping.
Anyway.
