Green cove springs to Clearwater Fl

A couple of years ago I did the trip from Fort Lauderdale to Clearwater, then crossed to Panama City.

The trip across FL was fun and easy. The marina at Indiantown was interesting in a retro kind of way. We crossed on a calm day, had no problems with the locks even though we we total newbs, and stayed at a TF's dock that night near the River Forrest marina. The next day we made it to Fort Myers.

We cruise at 7 knots.

Easy and fun trip, plan on 2 days for the Big O Waterway. The West side of the trip is much more fun than the East side. Locks and bridges are easy and everyone is super nice
