In the current Boats and Harbors classifieds there is a Prairie 29 advertised for sale. No photo. Information given follows:

1979 Prairie Trawler, Perkins 4-236 fuel slipper, 3KW Genset,heat/air. Hard dingy on davits, low cost. Cruising or live aboard.

The area code 906 is the upper peninsula of Michigan. That would be one of the MOST desirable places to buy a fiberglass boat from. It may mean nothing, but if the boat is there I submit the following may apply to her:

- likely stored for 4-8 months per year, less wear and tear
- likely out of the water during storage, lets the hull dry
- fresh water, no salt wear and tear
- much less UV exposure

We were aboard one of these a couple of years ago, owned by a gentleman who kept his in Cheboygan, MI. It was a nice boat and he really cared for it.
